Do you enjoy it when the goal posts are moved? For example you just get 99 Slayer, then its changed to 120 Slayer. Is it fun for you?

Other examples: You get the quest cape, then a new quest comes out, or you get the completionist cape, and new content is added you have to do. Or maybe something you just finished is then removed as a requirement.

Its going to happen, that is just the nature of the game, the question is just whether you like it when it changes or not.
Hi.

If it's implemented appropriately, yes, it's fun for me.

Problem is, when it comes to skill levels, all skills should already go to 120 non-virtually too by now. The game has powercrept to a point where 99s are the new 80s, and 120s are the new 99s, but it doesn't reflect in the actual gameplay yet, even though it should. There's really not much point to play with certain skills after 99.

I'm not too bothered by it, I'll either go for it or not depending on whether I like the activity/skill.

I would think - on a slightly side-note - that a new person coming into the game would look at the mountain they have to climb before they earn their spurs (so to speak) and be rather put off.

All these increases in skill maxes and additional achievements forever being chucked in and messed with might seem like a massive time commitment which people are not prepared to make/cannot make.

I was shocked to find while doing dungeoneering I needed skills to be above 99 to do certain tasks (I believe I made a thread on the matter a little while back?), if I couldn't complete certain skills I could make a potion so my skill/s will go above 99 for a short time so I can complete task <- I find this wrong. We are not required to have skills above 99 in most skills but when it comes to dungeoneering we do, it just doesn't fit with me. They should bring all skills up to 120 so it all fits into all parts of the game.

I was a bit disappointed in Slayer and Dungeoneering being moved up to 120 (or has dungeoneering always been 120??), but it is what it is, I only have issues with the skills within Dungeoneering being expected to be above 99.

It is sad when you get to wear your quest cape and suddenly you can't wear it again after all that hard work, but once again it is what it is and it is an incentive to complete new quest to be able to wear it again.

Yes and no. I dislike feeling constantly pressured to play, as I once was, before I decided to play more for fun than goals.

Though I always did love goals, especially big ones. For example I got a trimmed completionist and regular complationist cape at the same time. Something I'm not sure if anyone else had ever done at the time. But, they were always goals of my own choosing, and were therefore unique, and that's why I liked them I think.

I don't mind it if moving the goal posts=useful or fun content. The idea of slayer was cool but they kinda gave up on making it a real 120 since they had little content for it.

If they did a salty title expansion like dehydrated for a new arc region I wouldn't mind as long as its not a ridiculous grind for little reward like 10,000 Taijitu for a crab pet.

I did all the quests till you are it, didn't care for a 10 min quest with little stuff in it. If they were to spam create like 10 of those I'd just say what a waste of effort.

I think its unhealthy for the game if they move the goal posts too far and commit you to a task that gives not much. They'll demand hundred more hours that coulda been spent doing better things in the game. Moving the goalposts should be something positive for the game not a source of misery to get it over with.

Akin to what was said above, I don't mind if they release a 120 with some shiny new content and make it worthwhile.

But 120 Slayer was an extremely useless and arbitrary jump, just so they'd have a proper path for their shiny new Slayer Dungeon and a reason for level 99 Slayers to slay outside of the Ushabti's.
