HI ! Since the summer I have been trying to complete the Arc Journal and am absolutely stuck.

I have lost track of the islands I have been to, the unchartered and the general ones.

I still need the following -

1. Tortoiseshell plover bird.- I have hung around, done tortles - no luck.
2. Toastool mushroom - I have picked mushroom until my hands are bleeding.
3. Foraging and fortunate Orokami - nothing.


I have wanted just those for months now and do everything possible every day - no luck ! (well, I finally got the stoneberry yesterday in a chest)


Any tips? I have to be doing something wrong - I know its unchartered Islands, I know its general ones and not my own - I have mainly done the largest because I assume that's more chance, but am I wrong.?

Sounds like a bad case of RNG gone wild lol.

Toastools are pretty rare. You can only get those from The Islands That Once Were Turtles. Took me a good while to get one.

For the Plovers, try hunting Tortles at a different time of day on the islands (fast if you have a hammock on your island).

The Orokami have a 1/80 chance to spawn. Quest Cape Skill Requirements
