So with the new update, I would like to suggest to tell the staff that I actually like the idea of a portable version of Vic. However, the price of a bond per person to summon Vic seems outrageous to me. I suggest figuring out a system to open it up a little bit. Maybe, for 2 bonds, Vic becomes usable publicly? Maybe the 1-bond version is usable by up to 10 people, but only people in a group? Something like this I guarantee you I would buy into it. If the bond cost could be split among several players, I know more people would be interested.
Jmod 1: "Guys, we need even more ways to monetize the game, any ideas?" Jmod 2: "Let's add a portable Vic in exchange for a bond to those who can't wait for the regular Vic to appear, and make him usable by the player who bought him only." Jmod 1: "But wouldn't that be too much in such a short time?" Jmod 3: "Simple, we'll just add it like that at first, then wait for people to complain about not being able to share portable Vic with others, and afterwards make him usable by others as well. We can then claim that we listened to their feedback, and we'll get to keep a new form of MTX with people thanking us for it." Jmod 1: "Genius idea, cheers! By the way, sorry, but I'm going to have to fire you two now. We gotta reach infinite growth somehow, so we gotta reduce our costs."
Ulti Statsaid: Jagex needs to recognize and invest in more healthy mtx methods. Every time they do something like this it splits the community and make us lose trust in them even more.
Limit mtx to cosmetics and runestat Even cosmetics are not healthy since the shiny, flashy and fancy SGS stuff devalues other stuff you earn in-game (from quests and activities and things).
On-topic, Vic is already OP through the roof as is (since mtx provides millions of bonus xp, apprently); letting people share him would be even worse. Not to mention it'd neve rhappen since Jagex would miss out on bond revenues.Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. Minigames & ninja fixes & achievement ideas!
