So Jagex is planning on consolidating most minigames into one convenient location. As far as I know, they haven't mentioned -where- that's going to be yet.

The two obvious potential spots are in the title. So my question is, where do you think Jagex is putting them? And where would you want them to be put?

Personally I'd prefer the Games Room. There's a lot of space in there, and it makes a lot more sense than some random hole in the ground north of falador. Plus the older games would get more attention, too.

I pictured em using falador and having a portal to all areas in it.

Burthorpe games room would be a nicer fit with the backstory. Not sure if they'd want to rip up the games room layout or cram a portal to a hub in there.

But either way I'd envision a hub area before you hop in a portal in the end. Both locations have the whole I forgot that place even exists problem with them, since they are underground things barely advertised and forgotten.

Well I wouldn't support tearing up the place too much. Hell, you could probably just add another floor and set up a bunch of portals there instead of the exclusive high-ranking board game rooms.

I'm with OP. Its probs a hub with portals to each minigame, each minigame could be in its own instance/shard w/matching environment. This would make tons of space, too! Luje heist which is just placed randomly north of Falador.

An ornate & exquisite portal that leads to the most exotic of natural preserves. Here we will experience the most luscious of environments; a true delicacy for ones eyes to behold. The lobby will maintain a swift, yet gentle breeze carrying the most breathtaking of aromas. The stars will be shining and the gods of Gielinor will be watching over us as we indulge in our glorious competitions. /s

Some generic portal that leads to some generic minigames hub. Would love to see it in its own, customized area similar to the Enchanted Valley,

but I highly doubt they will put that much effort into it.

I would suggest completely remodelling the Gamers' Grotto from a gloomy cave into a Behind-the-Scenes-bar-style of fun place, with portals to each minigame;

Cabbage Facepunch can be moved onto an instance with Ape Atoll-esque graphics, accessed from the grotto.

Stealing Creation could be moved into a Wilderness-like instance like it was originally, accessed by the club-wielding mystic in the grotto. Same for Clan Wars, which would have its old building back with a portal from the grotto leading there.

Fist of Guthix portal would remain.

As for other minigames, I think some could have portals/NPCs getting you there right away (e.g. Heist, a leprechaun for Vinesweeper, etc.) while others would have to be unlocked first. For instance, a Soul Wars portal could be a reward for 10 Zeal, a Castle Wars portal for 20 silver tickets, etc. These portals would be one-way while those to CFB, SC, Clan Wars and FoG would be two-way.

Additionally, there should be a Standard Spellbook teleport spell to the Grotto, as well as a teleport on the gamer's necklace (as there is already).
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. Minigames & ninja fixes & achievement ideas!

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

I agree with everything except unlocking new portals. Feels like unlocks for unlocks sake, and given the current dead state of minigames I can't agree with anything that artificially stems the flow of players getting to the minigames, especially since most of them are sequestered in their own private areas anyway (Castle Wars might be the exception here given its proximity to the Yanille Lodestone, where I feel first-time players should maybe have to talk to Lanthus to unlock the direct teleport just for the sake of providing new members a reason to stumble upon the Yanille area first instead of just teleporting)

But yeah, I can't second the idea of the new Grotto being a packed, raucous pub hard enough. Just a big, fun central hub for people to meet up even before they take the plunge to the lobby of their game of choice.
