After the recent events in canifis, with reports of an interrogation conducted in public by a rabid saradominist, as well as supposed rumors of a saradominist man swinging around an ivandis flail in public and using anti-unholy prayers, the local population decided it was time for swift and immediate action.

The result was the immediate and total nullification of the truce between the werewolves of Canifis and the humans of Morytania. It was announced that the town would be safe for the purposes of trade, but that anywhere else in Morytania, all bets were off.

The following day, Myreque scouts reported many, many werewolf hunting packs departing Canifis and heading south.

One last missive report was sent to Misaldi Icau in Burgh De Rott, detailing everything that has happened in the last few days.

Dear Commander Icau,

After my investigation work, the Duke himself showed himself at the bar. He found the man responsible for the death of his uncle, and where his blade resided. Solus put up quite the fight against the Vyrelord, think his name was Ezio Nylsugo. And he rightly pissed off the Draculea Coven, much to your dismay I'm sure. We marched south in the night, while the Vyres and werewolves were unaware. Had to kill a few of them that tried to attack us, probably around forty of 'em or so. And what a little treasure we came across, the sniveling juvenile that Ovilum Skalov had turned, we captured him and took him to an old ruin in southern Morytania, hoping Ovilum would come to us. What do you know? This same ruin, I think that's Izaya's sword, and well...his skeletal body. They'll all pay for what they've done Commander Icau, the soul is complete. The Vyrelady, Ovilum eventually showed up, she didn't take us a serious threat. I had her boy's neck wrapped around a silvthril chain. Solus and I knew the plan though, she had sixty seconds to get a piece of Blisterwood, or the Vyre boy dies. Well she waited until the count of two, so I caught her by surprise. Broke the leeches neck and ripped the head from his shoulders, think it got caught on my chain when we teleported away.
If the plan went accordingly, the boys detonated the explosives, knowing they weren't gonna make it back home. Those are the men we fight for, I assume the Myreque will no longer have doings with Yanille after this stunt, but be assured. We will be back for that Blisterwood, and the death of any Vyre that threatens the free people of the Hallowlands.

Signed, Captain Terenas Haven, Commander of the Yanille Militia.

The war horn was blown from the east, in Port Phasmays. The Yanillians were going home, though for how long?
We might've just created something very powerful, something that can change the world.

Re-reading it, Misaldi was ready to tear the letter in half...before a realization hit him. He soon set off to Varrock, to have duplicates of the letter printed...

Today, after Duke Solus Spero met with the Godless icyene, Suriel. They talked a bit about his actions in the east, and after saying his peace, Solus teleported away. Then meeting the Guardians of Armadyl, Master Battlemage Cyrus Amberose, Kimi Mela, and a new recruit who seemed strange. Solus told them of his campaign in the east, everything he had witnessed and endured. The new recruit revealed herself to be a vampyre. Solus was devasted, unable to cope that the Guardians would recruit the very beings that ruined his life. Solus spat truth at the Vampyre, which she could not deny. Kimi Mela and the Vampyre, Draconis left. Cyrus and Solus talked more, Draconis and Kimi returning Draconis threatening to kill the Duke. The Duke stood at the edge of Armadyl's focus, and jumped off. Thus killing himself, and avoiding war in the east. Though, if one were try to find his body, all they'd find is his blessed flail, and a splot of dried up blood. We might've just created something very powerful, something that can change the world.

-This letter is stamped in all corners with the crest of Armadyl-

To those that represent the organization of the Myreque in Morytania, I am Cyrus Ambrose, Chief Knight Guardian and Master Battlemage of the Guardians of Armadyl. In light of recent events regarding the activity of the Pacem Order within your territory, and the death of the Pacem Order member Duke Solus Spero, I ask that an entity of noteworthy rank of your organization come to the Divine Focus of Armadyl, south of Falador, in order to ensure there is no problematic standing between us, as well as to discuss other potential matters. I can not ensure the presence of the Marshall and Grand Spymaster, but I myself, as the Chief Knight involved in this situation, will be present.

Signed, Cyrus Lucien Ambrose

*The fine parchment is folded neatly in thirds, held together with a wax seal depicting one very angry looking unicorn. Ever so faintly, the missive itself smells of a fine chrysanthemum perfume..*

Dearest Misaldi,

It's Tamitha, Swordpoint Captain. Been a while since we corresponded, so here I am making up for lost time.

I do hope this letter finds its way to you while you are in good health. I have been hearing nothing but rather...dreary news from the motherland. I can't but imagine how the events that find their way to newspaper print trouble you so in person. Werewolves? Zealots? What more must the Morytanians endure before we can pause to breathe lungful of respite?

Regardless of the muck and misery, my offer to assist you and yours remains. As for payment, consider it a personal favor. It's not like I'm dragging all of Swordpoint across the Salve anyways. It's all in the name of business, and I pray for your understanding.

Perhaps we can chat over drinks sometime soon to discuss things further? I have been craving a nice tall glass of moonlight mead recently. I get goosebumps just thinking about how utterly terrible it'll taste. To sweeten the deal, I'll bring a bottle of my finest brandy too.
I know how difficult to find imports like that, especially nowadays.

I hear Emily stirring in the other room, so I ought to end off here before I begin to ramble.

Hope the wiggly-stick is finding some good use,

Captain Tamitha Volt

It's time.

We've rested here in Canifis for months. Morale's plummeted. We've sat, waiting, watching, scouting...bellies full of food from the west as we sit and do nothing. We'll get no more help from across the river, it's time we just face that and take matters into our own hands.

Me, Protues, Hallie, Sofia. Elzbeth went running off after some ghosts of the Myreque past and Damien likely headed off back east, eager to get out of a fight that wasn't his. Can just the four of us even make any difference? We've got no choice but to try, but I don't like our odds.

What choice do we have, though? Sitting here any longer won't help, not with the west as it is. We just have to do this, one way or the other. Starting with the werewolf tournament, the den of wolves and bats. From there, we move to the Burgh' again. However, something else in the Myre seems...promising...as a future base, I daren't even write it down yet, though, 'till my suspicions are confirmed.

Still...our skills and numbers dwindle. A fighter, an inventor, a survivalist and a herbalist. I can't help but feel that I'm leading these people to their deaths. People who trust me.

The Myreque have failed enough. It's time we got away with an assassination for once.

Artem is dead. We're one step closer to achieving victory.

The months of scouting paid off, it seems, but luck was also on our side. Proteus and Hallie were to sneak into a chamber I'd seem the vyres frequenting, while I was to slip through the combatant's area of Artem's damned arena. From what I gather, they ended up finding their way to the maze below it.

That's what Artem was playing at all along. A maze, hidden below the arena, where capable fighters would be pitted against eachother - for some kind of twisted entertainment. Things start to make sense, at least. From what I understand, Hallie and Proteus ended up face-to-face with Artem, as well as some shady robed figure - the shady one lives, so no doubt the message will be carried quickly back to Artem's superiors. Good. Let them know. Let them fear.

While they were caught up in the snare, I was trying to cause a distraction - freeing the prisoners who were trapped there. Humans, werewolves, all of it. Though I likely wouldn't have made it were it not for a white-haired woman who knew the place like the back of her hand. We struck a bargain - she helped my people and she got out with us.

In my attempt at a distraction, though, I released dozens of humans, not to mention at least a half pack of werewolves, into the arena. It was necessary. The arena was full of traps, perhaps...but it was necessary. With Artem's death, the vampyres would've killed those people. Or worse.

Even killing Artem was a close-run thing. The white-haired woman held up her end of the bargain while I went after Artem. He was waiting for the crew as they tried to leave, but a quick, unexpected attack from the white-haired woman coupled by one of mine toppled him, with Hallie finishing him off. Her expression as she drove the blade through his skull won't leave my mind, though.

Still, it was a victory. A rare thing these days.

Last Myreque Quest Done: err... blood something? the one where you kill Lenny

Brief History: Darrok started out in the lumbridgian military as a canonneer. After an unfortunate event involving bagels, gunpowder and the commanders cat he left the army.

As he was still a young man and didnt know what to do with his life he decided that travelling would be the way to go. This didnt end up so well either as he got 'kidnapped' by a rogue band of wizards. They mindcontrolled him for some time and forced him to do their bidding. He eventually broke free of the mindcontrol and slayed the wizards and went on his way again.

By now Darrok had grown a mighty beard ( which he still has ) and left for Falador. There he enlisted into Grey Vanguard, something that would change his life forever. Going on many a adventure he slayed mighty beasts and defended the not so mighty.
As gods battle for the fate of the world, Darrok picks up his trusty cleaver. Having heard whispers of the Grey he decides on adding his own humble contribution.

Bump for the bump gods!
Despite hardships at university, I'm going to be trying to make an effort to finish off this storyline for good - though as a side-consequence, the forum might take a bit of a hit. Sorry for that, but thanks all for the continued support and interest!
