Similar to tears of guthix minigame in osrs, would it be possible to implement a minimum xp gain or quest point gain in order to access the forum? In addition, it would be great if to access the rs3 sections this were required in rs3 and to access the osrs sections this were required in osrs. For the sections that are for both games either of the two would be fine.

This would cut down on the number of osrs players that only play osrs posting in the rs3 section and cut down on the number of rs3 players only play rs3 posting in the osrs section.

Note, for those with maxed XP in all skills they do not need to gain xp or qp.

Discuss.

Note, I have changed the content in this post to be acceptable as my previous post was locked straight away because the f mod that locked it thought that this was a rant thread. It is not. If there is some rule being broken, let me know. However, considering there is another thread about a QP requirement, I'm sure this is fine.

We want people to post on the forums not to chase them away to Social Media platforms.

These ideas for me are not helping the forums but hindering them from making any progress.

Restricting who can post where and how they want is not going to help in the slightest. It may even put people off if they need to gain exp or quest points just to post.

I do not support this idea in the slightest. ;)

Thank you for sharing your personal opinion. Personally, I prefer that those using the forum are active players. But lets just agree to disagree.

Personally, I've never understood the point of posting on the forums if you have quit the game and no longer play it. It doesn't make much sense.

But what you propose would lock out those people currently taking a short break from the game due to IRL affairs, when it's only the people who haven't played for years who should be kept out. It would do more harm than good.

Edit: typo.

I find it interesting that your forum signature appears worried about the underutilization of the forums:
Original message details are unavailable.
Seems interesting that the RSOF is dying yet the subreddits are thriving...
Yet an idea like this, as previously mentioned, would serve to slow the RSOF down even more by serving to lock out even more valid users. What is the intention for that?
