When Jagex gets around to updating RSOF, I would like to see the bump button be revised.

I'm not sure if the Devs are able to script this:

- The thread owner and handful of chosen forumers to be able to use that bump button on a thread? (Time limit would still apply. The owner of thread would be in control with who may bump the thread.)

Or

- Bump button available to everyone? (This is not my idea, someone suggested it. I do don't feel it's practical for the forums, I also feel the owner of a thread should be in control of his/her own thread.)

Or

- Bump button all your own threads manually with a cool down period/ time limit. (You would be able to manually bump button all threads you own whether it's an alts or not - I feel with this idea the time limit would needs to be longer. The time limit would be attached to thread rather than device/account)

*Reworded opening post.

Upgrading the bump button to bump all your chosen threads manually (one thread at a time) without the 10 minute stand-down time and for clan threads, discord threads (possibly all threads) adding an extra part to the bump buttons which allows a chosen handful of players from their clan, bumping service or friends to be able to use the bump button also. The stand-down period of 10 or more minutes would be placed on the thread rather than on the device or how Jagex do it at the moment.

If our profiles get updated, bumping our threads through our profile may be a thing in the future - not only having a bump button on our threads but in our profiles beside our thread titles.

No.

This is a silly idea.

This exactly.

I think it would be far too difficult to code, and probably take up far too much time which could be spent on other forum upgrades.

Instead, I think it would just be better to have the bump button available to all forumers on each thread.

Either i misread or you just disagreed with the idea then agreed with it.

Have the bump button available to everyone - much like how Forum Mods and Community Helpers can bump anyone's thread, just give that feature to regular forumers as well.

I'm disagreeing to Dong's idea of the web dev's wasting time to write code to allow an OP to select certain people to post... that just seems like something that's not needed.

Tl;dr - Either let everyone bump any thread with the button, whether theirs or not, or keep it how it is now.
