According to your logic and your stance on player account security, if you were truly concerned about other players account security you'd have to disagree on both fronts because they hold the same premise.
I however don't believe Veteran Capes to be a security risk. I also don't believe having a Scape Day where your account has, for example, a rock cake next to their name on the day they created their account holds any security threat.
Simply knowing an accounts creation date is not enough evidence for account recovery.I never said I agree with veteran capes (I don't - having items that can only be accessed by creating your account a certain amount of time ago goes against the spirit of the game IMO.), I merely stated why I don't think it is a security issue to the same extent as your idea.
You're being pretty disingenuous. Obviously account creation date isn't the *only* required piece of information for account recovery but it can be one of them. Your idea makes other people acquiring that information a lot easier, which is an obvious security issue.
