Hello OSRS, I am currently playing and enjoying OSRS like I once was. It’s upsetting that you put all that hard work into the Warding skill for it not to pass and I understand that it was very important for you to find a way to remove items from the game itself to make Gilenor a better and sustainable place to be.

I was thinking about ways to improve the economy for players who have a lot of money to throw around.

1. Add a Crystal Max Cape (obtainable when completing SOTE & over 100M xp in all skills) for 9.9B for extra FashionScape with a unique emote and animation.
2. For Influencers players can buy a skill cape from NPCs around Gilenor for a “Cape of Influence” which will have the same stats as an Obby Cape (Youtube is the red, Twitch is purple, Facebook is blue ect.)
3. Add a “wishing well” in Varrok square where people can deposit items ingame they must be expensive with a chance of unlocking an XP lamp, random item, a “Money Pet” where its a gold genie
4. A boss which demands a Godsword sacrifice and it will be a 4 man boss where you will face a new crystal boss (much like my crystal king idea but harder and multiple crystal bosses with it) and the rewards will be worth it but very hard and make it so its hard for Woox too to make people want the challenge.
5. A Coffer for your bank to have extra bank space, every 20 bank spaces is over 1M and ironmen would kill for this! And that 1M lasts 1-2 weeks.
6. Add new “exclusive” cosmetics around Gilenor that are unique to that area in the game (Fossil island will have a glowing mushroom armour, Varrok will have the guards outfit, Falador will have the drawvern beer stein to that effect) this was people can spend lots of money to show wealth.
7. You could get players to have a OSRS stock market for businesses around osrs where people can opt in. Bit risky, but worth a shot =) use the Grand Exchange as the place to do it.

I know these aren’t amazing ideas, but feedback to improve these ideas would be good :)

1) crystal max cape sure, no support for locking stuff behind 100mil xp though, it's excessive and jagex shouldn't encourage playing the game as much as people with 100m xp x23 do.

No support for 2, we voted heavily against partnerships and that sounds like a way of sneeking that sort thing into the game.

3) no support for trading gp for xp lamps or a literal buyable pet...

4) makes no sense, nobody is sacrificing a godsword for a boss unless the boss has a ridiculously broken droptable.

5) no support, we pay $11 for 400 extra bank spaces, locking more behind gp would be shitty

6) sure

7) not enough detail

Really if sinking gp is a priority, raise the staking tax by 4% to a total 5% tax and add a 0.1% ge tax and you will sink far more gp than with any other idea.

How about max cape, quest Cape and completion of 100 SOTE boss?

With the stock market, people can opt in for shares around businesses around RuneScape like Zaffs staff shop, Varrok general shop, the place where people tan hides.
The more people who use these shops increases the value of the shares you buy. The more people use it, the more the stocks are worth. The less people use it, the worse your stock is worth.

I think this may encourage people to use shops and not GE to help their stocks improve.
It's a big change and you can go to the stores to see their stock history (right click option)

If you have any ideas you can throw at this, go ahead :)
