So, the RSOF don't allow you to post when you are on VPN?

I notice whenever I'm on VPN (which is all the times) I can log in and see all the forums, but after I hit the post button, I'm sent back to the login screen.

Just want to know if this is true and if anyone else has met the same fate!

This might be more related to your VPN than anything.

I very frequently use a VPN and have experienced no such issues.

Agreed. I'm willing to bet this is either a connectivity issue or some issue with your VPN itself, as there's nothing in place on the RSOF to interfere with VPNs - Jagex understands that some players may need to use them, according to Mod Tyran in a Reddit thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/35ut6k/psa_do_not_use_a_vpn_you_will_get_banned/cr81u3d/

"Some players often have to use a VPN to connect if they're having issues connecting via normal methods."

Have you tried testing it while logging in without the VPN ?

I can post on the forums using Hotspot Shield. I don't know if there is a known issue with other VPNs blocking the connection. There might also be something else on your computer like a web browser plugin or your antivirus blocking the website. Hopefully you don't have a virus infection that's causing this to happen.

Try flushing your local dns and clear your web browser cookies and cache files. If that doesn't work, check if you can post from a different web browser.

If this doesn't help, leave a new post on the Community Led Technical Support forum. :)

Moved to a more appropriate forum for OP's issues. The forums do not explicitly block a VPN, although if you use a public VPN you may have other issues.
