I don't think the biggest problem is "not enough players". It is NOT ENOUGH REWARDS rather.

If Jagex offers a $30 million real money tournament with the winner, even a 16 year old kid can take home $3 million, I am sure there will be a lot of players. I mean really really really lots of players. :D:D:D

Those are crap rewards. Hardly anything comparable to the rewards of other games.

Note that even in OSRS, the reward for DMM is real money, although a very tiny little amount.

We also certainly don't see the kind of OSRS "reward shop" in RS3. There are minigame currencies in RS3, no need to reinvent the wheels, particularly no reason to add Monkey Madness 2 or whatever useless ballista.

Game modes like LMS is just about Battle Royale, the concept of being the one to live in a battle of many players. Any game can use its existing game mode. RS3 can just run Runescape Royale with a lot of thaler rewards to begin with, but then the Thaler shop better be improved a whole lot.

And about BH, nope it is definitely not suitable for RS3.

A safe death BH alternative is more appropriate as this is the general trend of all successful modern games. Jmods have also been discussing safedeath PvP or limited loss PvP for a while, so I see no chance for the outdated BH that perished because it was crap nobody want to pick up.

Oh boy oh boy, you are right.

The number of emblem farmers and number of real players was such a drag. I hopped into RS3's BH at the very very end, coming over from OSRS.

Someone did mention a BH that wouldn't loose items on death, yet rather stack points up. It can get particular to the point where whoever has the most BH points owns, but can be fixed with separate reward shops based upon kills per combat level :O

???

Why should you keep items on death for an activity located in the wild?:@

That makes 0 sense.

I'm not stating it SHOULD happen, but it's an idea.

Look at the Bounty Hunter update OSRS just received?; If only they could apply to RS3...I would be such a happy camper with Bounty Points, NPC Reward Shop outside Edgeville in a safe spot, combat level based assign-ment, killstreaks, etc..
*My favorite idea so far is adding a safe-spotted NPC outside Edgeville bank with where you return you Bounty Points: (Like mentioned, applied based upon combat level bounty points).

*And adding MM2, and Heavy Ballista. Not only for just the combat, but we want to see what happens to Glough!? It's a quest just itching to be added to align and finish that series.
It could add such a fun affect to the game.

Look at the discussion of the Bounty Hunter update ORSR just received in these forums?

None. Zip. Nada. Utterly nothing. :D:D:D

If nobody even care about the OSRS BH updates, why should anybody in RS3 care?

Obviously. It is no good. Nobody care about ballista or whatever OSRS quests in RS3. If there is new PvP content similiar to BH, it should absolutely come from creativity and originality based on existing RS3 lore/content.

Perhaps OP should go talk about the BH that he did not even play since his HCIM died in OSRS forums rather. At least, this may get some people the interest in BH in OSRS that it is almost non-existent. Even OSRS players talk about LMS and DMM now. BH is dead.

Nobody cared about mauls in RS3, a cheap alch obviously. :D
