Got 2 defence, so i am canceling my membership, put alot of time into this account for something so small to ruin it and to start over isn't even imaginable. Just suggesting you repoll the negative exp lamps, many of my friends have come and gone for the same reason.
Assuming you got your re-poll to actually happen, negative lamps have failed numerous times between RS3 and OSRS. They don't pass because the players who want them are a very tiny minority. What makes you think that people who didn't want them before, who likely voted "no" to this in the past, would suddenly decide to vote "yes" now?
Remember - "Level 3 Skillers" are very definately an extreme minority to begin with. Among those, the ones who want "negative XP lamps" are themselves a minority. That's because the existance of "negative XP" lamps would undermine the entire purpose of being "Level 3 Skillers" in the first place, and if people can just "cheat" by using those lamps every time they get combat XP it devalues the achievemets of those incredibly dedicated players who've gotten extremely high total levels (or even maxed) without the aid of such a safety net.
The limited stat-reset you already have access to is enough - if you're frequently gaining bits of combat XP often enough to be asking for lamps to remove them, and you're not prepared to abandon accounts and start brand new accounts from the beginning like "Level 3 Skillers" have historically always had to, then perhaps being a "Level 3 Skiller" isn't the right type of account for you, and you'd probably enjoy the game more as a more standard skiller instead.
it polled at 71%, so it only needed 4% to pass. If it repolled again with a slightly different system of taking experience i would imagine it would reach 75% onward, you can rollback levels 5 or lower in RS3 by talking to an NPC in edgeville.
My account isnt a skiller, im 50 attack 99 strength 99 magic 99 range 13 prayer 90 hp 2 defence, my account was complete in my eyes and now it is aesthetically ruined.
"it devalues the achievemets of those incredibly dedicated players who've gotten extremely high total levels (or even maxed) without the aid of such a safety net."
untill they get that unwanted defence level and quit xD.

selohssa, I understand that you hold strong views about this topic and the outcome of the poll but posting a thread to announce your retirement from the game is not welcome. Such threads offer very limited scope for discussion and are often responded to inappropriately. For these reasons, this thread is now closed.
If this is the end of your RuneScape journey, I hope you have fond memories of your time playing. However, as resignation/retirement threads are not welcome, please avoid posting this topic again.
