This Promotion is organised by Jagex Ltd of St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS ("Jagex Ltd").

Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. To participate in this promotion you must recommend your friend to RuneScape before 11^th August 2012.
2. You must have your friend's permission to provide their details to Jagex as part of the Refer A Friend promotion.
3. When you refer a friend to RuneScape they will receive an email from Jagex containing a link which they can follow to create a game account.
4. You are able to refer fifty friends per month via email or an unlimited number through the link provided.
5. The link in each email invite is only valid for this programme for 30 days from the date sent. It will, however, continue to take your friends to our account creation page after those 30 days have passed. The link we offer for you to post has no expiration date.
6. You can also copy and paste a link from the "Refer-a-friend" web page to your own web page, for example a blog. This link will also take any friends or referees to the RuneScape website to create an account. You must have permission to do this from the company or person operating the blog.
7. If your friend follows the link provided and creates an account, they will receive a double XP boost for seven days or until they are level 30 in all available skills (depending on which happens first).
8. If your friend/referee subscribes to RuneScape within two weeks of creating their account you (as the referrer) will receive a weeklong 100% XP boost across your available skills. In order to benefit from the XP boost, you will be required to activate this XP boost via the refer-a-friend page on the website. If a friend/referee cancels their subscription within 14 days by any means then Jagex may cancel the applicable boost and take such other steps as appropriate in the circumstances.
9. You can have any number of boosts queued up at any one time, subject to the limitations that follow below.
10. You can only have five boosts over the course of a calendar year (with such a calendar year starting from the date the first boost is activated). You can only acquire one boost per friend referred via this scheme.
11. Should you have further friends/referees subscribe when you have already used five XP boosts within the calendar year starting on the date the first such boost is activated, then you will not be allowed to activate a further XP boost.
12. By participating in this Refer A Friend scheme you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
13. The decision of Jagex Ltd is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion.
14. Jagex Ltd's standard terms and conditions and privacy policy also apply to this promotion. Please note that, in particular, any personal data collected for the purposes of this promotion will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy (linked to here).
15. Jagex Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw or cancel this Refer A Friend promotion at any time, or amend the terms of this Refer A Friend promotion without notice.
16. Jagex Ltd. excludes all liability howsoever arising connected with the Refer A Friend promotion and all warranties, conditions, undertakings, terms and obligations implied by law (whether by statue, common law or otherwise).
17. This promotion is void where prohibited by law. A referral has no cash value. This promotion is not exchangeable, refundable or substitutable.
18. This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
