The RuneScape Companion is now available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play. It contains all of the features that you’ll be familiar with from the web-based version of the app, plus handy GE push notifications. So, for the first time ever you will be able to receive push notifications on the completion of Grand Exchange transactions from your phone!
If you haven’t used the companion before it allows you to chat to your RuneScape friends, buy and sell GE items, check your bank and GE slots, and use the D&D Tracker while on-the-go.
The GE push notifications work in a similar way to sales and purchase messages in game. When a transaction is completed on the Grand Exchange you’ll receive a notification. If you are purchasing or selling more than 50 items, you’ll also be informed every time an increment of 25% is completed.
As with the web app, you will need to use the authenticator to access the Grand Exchange feature.
