For the second year in succession, Jagex has won the prestigious UK Developer of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards in London, England!
We especially like the Golden Joystick awards as they are the only ones in the industry that are voted for by you, the players, and while they certainly did manage to fix their servers as promised (so that you couldn’t crash them with all votes like you did last year), it was great to see that we received 1.5 million votes this year as a result, as opposed to 1.3 million in the previous year!
It wouldn’t be right to celebrate this incredible and overwhelming achievement without expressing our deepest thanks and appreciation to all of you for supporting Jagex with your votes. The team are thinking hard about how we can give you some commemorative token of our appreciation, so more to follow in due course.
Once again, a big thank you from the entire Jagex team. Not that it's physically possible, but this just makes us want to work even harder for you!
