We have returned the ‘Any’ screen size option back into the Graphics Options interface for all display modes. The ‘Any’ option changes the size of the game window in line with the size of your browser. The other options for screen size are 800x600 and 1024x768.
For those players who wish to replicate their old Safe Mode setup, we recommend that you still run auto-setup to select the display mode most appropriate for your computer. After this, you can choose the ‘Min’ (i.e. minimum) option, which should then replicate how Safe Mode looked. Even at ‘Min’ settings, you should still use the display mode auto-setup chooses for best results.
We would still encourage you to try using some or all of the graphical options (e.g. textures, lighting detail), as the recent changes have increased the game’s speed for a number of players, and you may be surprised at what your computer is able to handle.
Also, we have added back in functionality to pick up items with a left-click when hovering the mouse over a long list of items. In these instances, the right-click menu will still group together all actions for one item, but returning the left-click ‘Take’ action here will speed up the process of picking up lots of items.
Finally, we've also taken this opportunity to fix a number of other, smaller bugs related to these updates.
