New Year's Resolutions

New Year's Resolutions

Party Pete's feeling an uncharacteristic bout of post-revelry remorse, and from 00:00 UTC on 5th January until 23:59 UTC on 11th January, you'll be able to join him in completing New Year's Resolutions.

To get started, just open Treasure Hunter (or speak to Diango if you're an Ironman) to obtain Pete's big list of resolutions.

Rewards

If you've played Walk like a Zombie or Zodiac Training, you'll be right at home – complete rows or columns of in-game tasks to unlock prizes. These include pieces of a funky disco outfit, plus XP and coins.

You can also win stickers on Treasure Hunter to automatically complete tasks of your choice.

Complete the card up to five times for an even-groovier outfit, a series of emotes sure to make you to dance-off legend, and Conga walk override:

Completion Prize for completing a row or column Prize for completing entire card
First Piece of the Disco outfit + XP or coin item Do the Robot emote
Second XP and coin item Can I Get a Whoop Whoop? emote
Third Second tier 'Cool' Disco outfit (different colours) + XP or coin item Shimmy Shake emote

Enjoy!

Have fun with this globe-trotting distraction, and party like it's 2017!

What is Treasure Hunter?

Treasure Hunter is playable from within RuneScape, allowing players to use Keys to claim in-game items as prizes. These range from useful resources to rare weapons and exclusive gear.

Playing Treasure Hunter is simple - click the treasure chest icon that pops up when you log in. If you've not played before, just follow the on-screen guide.

Everyone gets at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two. You can earn more Keys while playing the game, or stock up by redeeming Bonds.

If you'd like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking 'Buy Keys' within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game.
