RuneScape Companion Web App - D&D Tracker

We've recently updated the RuneScape Companion web app, adding two new features: a D&D Tracker, and a Stock Market section to keep track of the latest GE prices.

If you’ve not tried using the web app before there’s no time like the present! It's available to free players and members on mobile, tablet or PC, and along with the features listed above, it also lets you chat to your friends and check your GE listings on the go.

Read on for more information, or log into the RuneScape Companion now and give it a go! You can find out whether your device is compatible on the RuneScape Companion info page.

The D&D Tracker was one of your most requested features, so we've introduced it to the web app. Now, you can see how long is left before the next Sinkhole, Big Chinchompa, or other favourite RuneScape activity. It functions similarly to the version in-game, but now that it's included in the Companion App, you can check it from the convenience of your phone or tablet.

Please note: The D&D Tracker will take a couple of seconds to load first time you use it, but should be faster on subsequent visits. This is more noticeable on older smart phones (such as the iPhone 4) and we’re looking into ways to speed this up, but wanted to get this highly requested feature out to you as soon as possible.

The new Stock Market feature functions in a similar way to the Grand Exchange section on the website. You can search for items to find their current values and how they’ve fluctuated over time.

This feature is the next step in working towards giving you the ability to buy and sell GE items via the web app. This a few months away from being ready, and we're planning to release a bank checker first, but we’ll keep you updated via the forums.

We have also squashed a few bugs and made some general improvements, notably:

  • iOS6 users will no longer experience layout issues when moving between features.
  • You can no longer falsely appear logged in.
  • We’ve removed some of the transition states between pages to help with load speed.

We’ve got big plans for the RuneScape Companion App in 2014, and your feedback is crucial in the app's ongoing development. Please let us know what you think over on the forums.
