RuneScape Road Trip - Skiller Weekend

RuneScape Road Trip - Skiller Weekend

It's almost time for our second bonus event of the RuneScape Road Trip. This time, it's a Skiller Weekend.

From 01:00 BST on Saturday 10th May until 00:59 BST on Monday 12th May, all RuneScape members will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Double XP and reputation at Artisan's Workshop.
  • Increased node spawns and reward points at Runespan.
  • Double gold relic, sceptre and Black Ibis drops at Pyramid Plunder.
  • Enriched divination nodes spawn every 10 minutes.
  • Fishing spots stay in place twice as long.
  • Divination wisps last twice as long.
  • Mining nodes and trees replenish twice as quickly.
  • Base Big Chinchompa XP is increased by 50%

This weekend's a brilliant to time to make some progress in your non-combat skills. Have fun, and keep completing those journal tasks while you're at it!

Social Media Challenges - Part 2

As mentioned last week, we’re doing something a little bit fun on the RuneScape social media feeds throughout May - a series of RuneScape Social Media Road Trip Challenges!

Finish three to win an exclusive stamp for your social media avatars, and complete all seven for an extra-special prize - plus entry into a prize draw for some amazing RuneScape goodies!

If you’ve not completed last week’s tasks – don’t worry! You can complete them at any time of the month - just send your completed social media journals to us by 11.59pm BST on May 31st. Find out what they were in last week’s update.

This week (May 9th-16th), your two challenges are:

  • To follow us on Instagram, and to tag us (using @RuneScape) in a RuneScape-themed image you’d like to share. This can be a screenshot, a meme, a RuneScape IRL image, anything – be as creative as you like!
  • To like and share our recent BTS video: ‘May Updates Coming to RuneScape’.

When you’ve done each one, take a screenshot, and save it to your ‘scrapbook’ (i.e. a folder on your computer) to show us at the end of May. We’ll ask you to do the same for each of the challenges, and submit your entries to competitions@jagex.com come the end of May.

If you have any questions about the challenges or the competitions, we have a dedicated forum thread you can ask any queries on, as well as some FAQs.

We’ll be telling you the next two challenges next week.

Good luck, and happy adventuring!
