Another year, another Golden Gnome Video Awards. This year, however, was a bit different.
This year, the RuneScape video-making community have been busy cutting, chopping, shooting - and other adjectives you’d normally associate with a trained killer - to be in with a chance of picking up a GGVA in one of the following categories:
- Best Use of Sound
- Best Use of effects
- Best Storytelling
- Best Voice Acting
- Funniest Video
- Best Overall Video
And, to build a bit of tension, we’re revealing the finalists over the next week.
Monday’s (Sept 19th) golden envelope will bring you finalists for 'Best Use of Sound' and 'Best Use of Effects'. On Tuesday, it’s the turn of 'Best Storytelling', 'Best Voice Acting' and 'Funniest Video'.
Then, on Wednesday (as @RuneFest followers already know), we’ll announce finalists of a surprise bonus category. Oh yes!
Finally, we encourage everyone on Thursday to don tuxedos, as we announce the three finalists for the Best Overall Video. All three will be boarding trains or planes and showing up in person at the live GGVA ceremony at RuneFest 2011!
But, only one of them will win the GGVA and, to make that decision, we need you, our trusty community! Voting will start very soon and will continue right up to the GGVA ceremony itself.
