Things are really heating up as smouldering lamps make a return to Treasure Hunter.
From 00:00 UTC (game time) on the 28th of May until 23:59 UTC on the 2nd of June, you'll have the chance to pick up these XP-boosting marvels.
Smouldering lamps are best used on skills where you already have Bonus XP. They'll give you XP like an ordinary lamp – and they'll convert up to the same amount of Bonus XP into regular XP, so you can benefit from it immediately!
You can – of course – still use them on skills with no Bonus XP, just like regular lamps. To get the most out of them, though, you'll want to burn through some of that XP you've stored up.

What is Treasure Hunter?
Treasure Hunter is a minigame – playable from within RuneScape - where players use Keys to claim in-game items as prizes. These range from useful resources to rare weapons and exclusive gear.
Playing Treasure Hunter is simple – click the treasure chest icon that pops up when you log in. If you've not played before, just follow the on-screen guide.
Everyone gets at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two. You can earn more Keys while playing the game, or stock up by redeeming Bonds.
If you'd like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking 'Buy Keys' within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game.
