Treasure Hunter – Death Lotus Training

Death Lotus Training comes to RuneScape from 00:00 UTC on 13th August until 23:59 UTC on 19th August.

Over this time, there's +25% XP from Treasure Hunter lamps and stars used on Agility, Thieving, Ranged and Slayer too!

How to Start

Please note that this is members-only content, and is not available to Ironman players.

Open the Treasure Hunter interface and – once you close it again - you'll get a Death Lotus scroll. Open it to find details of sixteen deadly deeds – arranged on a four-by-four grid. These increase in difficulty with each row – from easy tasks (the top row) such as killing 10 enemies with throwing knives up to elite feats such as defeating Araxxi, Nex or the Kalphite King.

Track down the Death Lotus master at various spots around the world to get two stamps – each of which can be used to auto-complete a task. You can do this once per completion of the scroll. Look out for more stamps on Treasure Hunter, too.

Rewards

Complete rows to earn prizes such as prismatic stars, prismatic lamps and cash bags. Fill up columns to unlock pieces of a cosmetic Death Lotus assassin outfit.

Completing the entire scroll will unlock an amazing weapon override. Do so up to four times to unlock the sai, acid bomb, glaive and dragon staff.

You'll get new colours for your cosmetic outfit the second, third and fourth time you complete the card.

Finally, upon completing the scroll four times, you'll also get a Meditation rest animation token, which can be used to learn the animation, or traded. You can also get these as a rare prize on Treasure Hunter.

Enjoy!

Unlock the secrets of the Death Lotus this week – they'll never see you coming. Have fun, and be sure to give us your feedback.

What is Treasure Hunter?

Treasure Hunter is a minigame – playable from within RuneScape - where players use Keys to claim in-game items as prizes. These range from useful resources to rare weapons and exclusive gear.

Playing Treasure Hunter is simple – click the treasure chest icon that pops up when you log in. If you've not played before, just follow the on-screen guide.

Everyone gets at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two. You can earn more Keys while playing the game, or stock up by redeeming Bonds.

If you'd like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking 'Buy Keys' within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game.
