Acorns are used for the Farming skill and grow into oak trees. A level of 15 farming skill icon and a trowel is needed to plant them in a plant pot, creating an oak seedling. This provides 1 Farming XP.

The seedling will grow into an oak sapling when watered with a watering can or magic watering can. Watering a seedling provides 1 Farming XP.

It takes 160 minutes for an oak tree to fully grow. Chopping down a tree requires level 15 woodcutting skill icon and a hatchet. Using a spade on the stump provides oak roots which is used to brew certain ales.
