|Draynor Manor has a new resident and, adventurers rejoice, she is a damsel in distress!
Far from being Sleeping Beauty, she finds the Manor's beds not to her liking and is suffering from insomniac nights. If you fancy yourself able to aid Ava in her search for a good night's sleep, who knows what the budding scientist will produce as a reward?

After talking to her, she will ask you to fetch two undead chickens. One will be used to make her bed more comfortable, while the other will be used in a reward for you.
Finding the chickens
Equip the ghostspeak amulet (unless you own a pair of morytania legs 3) and talk to Alice's husband in the west part of the farm. He tells you that the Ectofuntus transformed his animals into the walking dead, and himself into a ghost.
Speak to Alice again. She will ask you to tell her husband that she can't find the savings they had before the curse struck. After returning to the husband, he will reveal that he put their savings in the bank.
Talk to Alice. You tell her that she should equip the ghostspeak amulet and talk to her husband herself, but she replies that she tried but got too scared of other ghosts.
Talk to Alice's husband again. He says he doesn't trust you with his bank pass.
Speak to Alice again and inform her that her husband does not trust you. Your character will come up with the idea of giving an altered ghostspeak amulet to her husband so the couple will be able to communicate.
Enchanting the ghostspeak amulet
Upon talking to her she'll ask you to talk to her again with the ghostspeak amulet equipped and some space in your inventory. Speak to her again and you will receive a crone-made amulet.
Acquiring the chickens
Return to the farm and speak to Alice's husband again. After giving him the crone-made amulet, you will see an amusing cutscene of him trying to catch a chicken.
After the cutscene, talk to Alice's husband again. He will charge 10 ecto-tokens for each undead chicken. Bring 20 ecto-tokens and buy two chickens.
Take the undead chickens back to Ava in Draynor Manor to start your next task.
Ava now requires a magnet to construct your reward. She will tell you to speak to the witch in the room north-east of hers.
The witch tells you to take this iron to the mine north-east of Rimmington, and strike the iron with a hammer while facing north. Go to the mine as directed, face north and click on the iron to strike it. The iron will become a bar magnet.
Return the magnet to Ava in Draynor Manor.
To complete your reward, Ava requires branches from one of the undead trees growing around the manor. Find one of these trees (they will attack you as you walk past them), and try to chop it with a mithril or better hatchet.
With the hatchet equipped, return to Draynor Manor and try to cut an undead tree again. It may take a few tries but you will eventually get some undead twigs. Take these back to Ava.
The research notes
Ava now have the components required to create your reward, but it still needs to be constructed. Ava will now give you some research notes that require translation.
Click the notes to see a diagram with nine buttons. To translate the notes, turn the second, fifth and eighth buttons green and leave the others red. It should resemble the image on the right.
