Worn Equipment interface

The Avatar Customisation interface allows you to select various aspects of your character such as outfits, titles and animations (available through Solomon's General Store).

It is accessible through the Worn Equipment interface via a silver icon in the bottom right corner.

It consists of four tabs, a selection pane and a viewing pane where you can preview your changes.

Interface

Tabs

The four tabs are "Outfits", "Titles", "Animations", "Avatar" and "Pets". Clicking on these will change what is shown in the selection pane.

Selection Pane

The selection pane is different depending on which tab you select, but it will always give you the option to show items you own, or all items. You can do this by clicking one of the box icons in the bottom-left corner - the first box on the left shows all items and the box to its right will filter the items to only those that you own.

The selection pane is split into categories of items. All tabs have different categories but they all serve the same purpose in that they are there to help you find what you are looking for more easily.

Preset options

Some tabs will give you extra options in addition to those listed above.

Wardrobe Tab

On the 'Wardrobe' tab you are given an extra option and that is to save your outfit for later use.

  • To save your currently equipped items as a preset, select a preset slot from the drop-down list and press "save". You can save up to 3 presets.
  • To load a preset, select it from the drop-down list and press "load". You'll need to have the items in your inventory for this to work, however.
  • Pressing "reset" will delete your currently selected preset.

Avatar Tab

On the 'Avatar' tab, the extra option you are given is to choose the colour of your hair style. For normal hair styles, available for all players, there is only one choice of colour. For premium hairstyles, purchasable through Solomon's General Store, there are two options.

The mask icon with a white highlighted left side is for the first colour. Click this and then choose your desired colour. The preview image to the right of the colour picker will update with your choice.

When you're ready to pick another colour, click the mask icon where the right side is highlighted in white. Again, clicking on a colour will update your avatar preview.

Your current colour choices will be highlighted with the appropriate white left/right side backgrounds. So, in the image to the left, the first colour is phoenix orange and the second is ruby vermillion.

The Pets Tab

The 'Pets' tab, is not about customising your avatar's appearance, but that of your pets. Although the interface is built to deal with pets purchased through Solomon's General Store.

Along the top of the tab are four drop down boxes allowing you to change various aspects of your pet.

  • The 'Appearance' drop down lets you choose between the three growth stages of your pet. You can only change to a stage that your pet has already reach (so you cannot choose the adult appearance if your pet has only grown to adolescence). Note this is just the physical appearance of your pet, it does not change the skills it has learnt.
  • The 'Colour' drop down lets you change the colour of certain areas on your pet.
  • The 'Treats' drop down lets you activate any treat that you have bought (see here).
  • The 'Rename' drop down lets you select your pet's name from a variety of choices.

Just below this you will be able to see how many pet points you pet has achieved so far. Note that the total pet points displayed are those needed to achieve the next level of growth, not the total points needed for maximum growth.

Along the bottom of the tab you have options to:

  • Place your adult pet into your POH menagerie.
  • See what bonus you have from any active treat.
  • Call your pet to you.
  • Activate an ability.

Viewing Pane

Using the arrows on the right and left of the viewing pane, you can rotate your character so you can view your changes from all angles. Clicking the silver button in the top-left corner of the viewing pane will switch you between chat head and full length modes. This is not available for animations.
