The Avatar of Destruction is found in the Soul Wars minigame, along with the Avatar of Creation. During the game, players on the creation team must attempt to kill this avatar while players on the destruction team must protect it. Note that familiars cannot harm the avatars, only players on the opposing team.

When the game begins, the avatar requires a Slayer level of 100 to harm and is therefore impervious to all players, but if the creation players gain control of the Soul Obelisk they can offer soul fragments to it to lower this Slayer requirement and make the avatar vulnerable. Destruction players can attempt to raise the avatar's Slayer requirement by offering bones to the Soul Obelisk when they control it.
