The Baby Troll is a pet follower that the player is rewarded after helping defend Taverley from the troll invasion in the members tutorial Troll Warzone.

It appears crawling from behind some rocks towards Ozan who at first shows hostility towards it but is then overwhelmed by its cute appearance. The player can choose to agree or disagree with this statement but either way they will receive the baby troll as a pet later in the quest after firing the cannons and blocking the tunnel the trolls have been using.

Whilst idle the baby troll sneezes and generally makes lots of cute noises. As with all trolls in Runescape it is named after the first thing it eats. You can feed it practically any item in-game as long as it's available to trade. If it is unavailable the Baby Troll will say that he doesn't like it. There are some exceptions.

Exceptions of untradeable items that can be fed to your troll

• Dwarven army axe
• Troll general's bones
• Troll lieutenant's bones
• Pets (Note: Eek as a holiday item cannot be fed to your troll)
• Wicked hood
• Clan rings

To reset its name simply talk to it and select the option to do so. Should you dismiss the Baby Troll you can get him back from any of the pet owners and ask if they have "seen any strays".

Where to find Baby Troll

If by any chance you lost your baby troll when going to a Free to Play world it can be found in the Tavelry pet shop, by asking the owner for any stray pets.
