The Beachball is an item only obtainable from the SoF. It was released August 2nd 2012.

The icon is a brightly colored beachball with a red center and blue white and yellow stripes. When a player receives a beachball it is placed in the bank.

Examine: Hours of fun for the whole family.
Destroy: Are you sure you want to destroy this item? You can claim another from Diango in Draynor.
Place: You place the ball at your feet.
Use: [when used on anything] Nothing interesting happens.

When the ball is 'placed' anyone can kick it. The following options are displayed:

Kick: Any player may kick the ball. When kicked a number displays above the ball followed by an exclamation point telling how many times the ball has been kicked. The number of kicks kick reset after a ball is picked up.
Check: Allows you to see how many times the ball has been kicked.
Pick up : allows the owner to pick up the ball. If you are not the owner it will say: This is not your beach ball, it belongs to "player name."

Once the ball has been kicked more then 99 times it becomes a flaming beach ball

if the owner logs out while the ball is in play it will exclaim "Pop!" and disappear

With the release of the beachball, previous SoF items such as the monkey hats, queens guard outfit, Dragon ceremonial items, can now be reclaimed by speaking to Diango in Draynor Village rather than permanently lost.
