Black demons are a powerful species of demon found in a number of dungeons, including those in Brimhaven, Edgeville, Taverley and the Chaos Tunnels. In the Chaos Tunnels, Black Demons are also found in a Resource Dungeon should the player have 70 Dungeoneering to access it.

Their high combat level and aggression means they can inflict damage even on high-level players, so caution and the use of protection prayers are advised when approaching them.

Black demons are a common Slayer assignment for players using the high-level masters. Like all demons they are vulnerable to magic attacks, but ranged and melee combat work just as well if the player is suitably equipped. When fighting black demons, use infernal urns if you can to automatically collect their ashes.
