Bolt racks are the ammunition used in Karil's crossbow, and are not usable with any other type of crossbow. They are a possible reward from the chest in the Barrows, but can also be purchased from Ak-Haranu, a trader found in Port Phasmatys. Bolt racks will be destroyed once they are fired and cannot be picked up and reused.
