This mining thing is hard work

Beneath White Wolf Mountain, Burthorpe Mine is a series of interlinking caves that have been excavated to the citizens to provide the common ores that it is filled with to the smithers that require them.

It is a highly important resource for the citizens of Burthorpe who are currently in the midst of a war against the Trolls.

Location

The Mine's location

The Burthorpe Mine is found on the West side of the town, beneath the great White Wolf Mountain. Surrounded by the villages of Taverley and Burthorpe itself, it is an easily accessible location for anyone wishing to train their Mining as well as for locals supplying the Imperial Guard with soldiers to fight the maraudering Trolls.

In this mine you can find clay, tin and copper ores.

Clay (Level 1 )
Image:clayrock.gif Clay is an important resource, even in the middle of a war. Despite the need to obtain copper and iron for weapons and armour, some emphasis still is placed on essentials to make items like pots, dishes and other items.
Tin ore (Level 1 )
Image:tinrock.gif Tin is half of the bronze alloy and so is a vital material for an army wishing to quickly supply the front line. It might not being as tough as other materials such as iron but it's a readily available and easily mine-able resource.
Copper ore (Level 1 )
Image:copperrock.gif Copper is the other half of the bronze alloy and so is a vital material for an army wishing to quickly supply the front line. It might not being as tough as other materials such as iron but it's a readily available and easily mine-able resource.
