Cannonballs are ammunition for the Dwarf multicannon. By selecting the load option on the cannon, up to 30 cannonballs can be stored in the cannon. Cannonballs can do up to 300 damage and upon a successful hit, ranged experience is granted.

When firing cannonballs out of a cannon, cannonballs cannot be picked back up like regular ranged ammunition.

Many low to mid level players smith cannonballs for money, as they are one of the quickest and most reliable methods of making money. With the addition of the Morytania Medium Tasks, the smithing experience is decent if the Morytania Legs 2,3 or 4 are worn in Port Phasmatys. Making the steel bars first in Edgeville with the Varrock Armor worn can significantly increase the speed cannonballs can be made.
