Enter the mansion and in the first room to the West, speak to Ceril Carnilean. He will tell you that he wants a quest for his son to complete and that you should design it. Ceril will give you a list of requirements, and tell you to speak to his butler who will tell you how you can get to them.
After speaking to the butler - Crichton - head to the kitchen via the ladder, then go through the hole in the wall. Crichton will give you a quick tour of the cave's features to show you how they could fit in to Ceril's plan.

Before you start collecting and building things, you should get the jail guard and the damsel in distress in place.
Head to the first floor of the mansion via the staircase (grey dot on the map), and speak to Sarsaparilla (marked as + on the map). She doesn't like Philipe at all, so when you ask her about helping with the quest, she will end the conversation. Speak to her again and ask her if she will continue to stay in her room. This softens her mood a little. Ask about her ambitions, then tell her you are directing a drama and you'd like her to be a damsel in distress.
Sarsaparilla will now follow you. Head back down into the kitchen, pick up a piece of twine from the cupboard (marked as 2 the map) and lead her to the damsel in distress hotspot (marked as G on the map). If she doesn't follow you, simply speak to her again and tell her to follow you.
When you reach the hotspot you will tie Sarsaparilla to the grating.
Head back to the kitchen and speak to Claus the chef (marked as * on the map). Ask him to be a drunken jail guard. Claus will make his own way to the cave, but you must guide him to his hotspot. Ask him to follow you and lead him through the cave. When you reach the hotspot he will take position.
Now you can freely collect the items that you will need for the quest. Head back upstairs to the 1st floor and collect all of the items marked on the map. You'll need:
Go back to the kitchen and collect the following:
Now, right click on the hole in the wall and choose "Build". Using the Netting and a spider, you will decorate the hole changing it to an "ominous portal". Head through here and into the cave.
At the first hotspot (marked as B on the map) you can choose to build a spike pit or a pool of water. You won't be able to build a spike pit at this point, as you don't have the required materials, so build a pool of water (or build the spike pit when you have finished all other tasks). Once built, you must then click on the ledge to make your way past.
Make your way to Nostrilla and Slimepits (marked as = on the map) and ask them to help you. They'll want some armour in return so give them the Helmet and breastplate, and then ask them to be the patrolling guards. They will make their own way to their hotspots.
Next, build tripwires using the Twine you picked up at the hotspots marked D on the map, then make your way to the passage (dark green dot on the map).
In the passage, search the spoil heap for Bone scraps and Animal skulls then pick up a Cave mouse. The wolves will now follow you so take them to the dragon hotspots (marked as F on the map). They will take up position at the hotspots when you approach them so all that is left is to add the Dragon heads to the wolves.
Use Lady Henryeta's necklace on Sarsaparilla to have her hold it - she'll give it to Philipe as his reward.
All that remains is to decorate the cave. You only have to make one decoration, but there are up to three places where you can build something to make the cave a little more exciting. Build spots for decorations are marked as a violet dot on the map.

Head back to the ground floor of the mansion and speak to Philipe. He already knows about the quest, but ask him to do it anyway. When he refuses, pickpocket his sweets and then ask him to do the quest again for a bag of sweets.
Make your way back to the kitchen to begin Philipe's quest. Click on the ominous portal to go into the cave, then click on the ledge. Philipe will be less than enthusiastic so remind him of his reward.
Move through the cave towards the trip wires. If you built any decorations in this area, Philipe will comment on them.
When you reach the patrolling guards, he will ask you if he can kill them. Tell him that the guards will still have time to yell if he does that. Philipe can't seem to get past them so go and speak with Slimepits. Keep him distracted by speaking to him - don't end the conversation until Philipe has snuck past. If you built any decorations in this area, Philipe will comment on them.
Speak to Philipe to continue his quest. Click past the tripwire to have Philipe question what it is. Tell him it's a fiendish trap. Philipe will cut through the first tripwire. Click past the second tripwire and Philipe will cut that one too.
Continue on through the cave. If you built any decorations in this area, Philipe will comment on them.
Before you go around the corner to where Claus the chef is standing, you'll explain to Philipe how he must get past. Philipe will want to kill the guard, so tell him that if he tries, the guard will see him and sound an alarm. When Philipe has taken the wine and the disguise, move towards the guard to trigger the cutscene.
Catch up to Philipe and speak to him to continue the quest. Lead him over the bridge towards the "dragons". When Philipe says the wolves don't look like dragons, tell him he wouldn't be able to fight a big one. He'll demand you give him a sword, and will then fight the wolves. As the first one dies, their mother comes rushing to their aid.
Ask Philipe if you can help and he'll ask you to distract the Cave wolf matriarch so that he can kill her. Use the crates to avoid her attacks and keep moving to avoid the falling debris. If you lose her attention, click on her again.
Speak to Philipe once he has killed the wolf and he will rescue Sarsaparilla.
Return to Sir Ceril and tell him that Philipe has completed his quest. Speak to Xenia and ask her what happens now, then return to Ceril for your reward.
