Coal is the most common ore in Runescape, mainly because of its many uses.

Coal is used for making many types of bars.

• Steel bar - 2 coal & 1 iron
• Mithril bar - 4 coal & 1 mithril
• Adamant bar - 6 coal & 1 adamant
• Rune bar - 8 coal & 1 runite

A Coal bag will store up to 27 pieces of coal.

Coal is found at almost all mining sites, but the most known is the Mining Guild. Mining one unit of coal gives 50 Mining XP.

Coal is the main part of making any type of armor, swords or anything like that by mining it then smelting it you use coal to combine with iron to make steel mithril to make mithril bar adamant ore to make adamant bar and runite to make rune bar. bars can be used on the anvils that are scattered all over the map this you will be able to create your own armor,swords and other things you can make at your level.
