Wiki News - Edit Permissions Bug

All news relating to the Runescape Wiki can be found here! An Edit Permissions Bug has affected a small percentage of users. If you are experiencing issues and have the necessary requirements to edit, please let Jagex know.

Main Site Link Templates

You asked for them and here they are!! Any problems then please add them to the JMod Fix List.

All Templates To see what templates are available for use already Category:Templates is your place.
Adventurer's Log Template The Template:AdventurersLog allows you to link to your RuneScape Adventurer's Log.
Player Character Avatar Template The Template:Avatar allows you to place either your forum avatar chat head or full-bodymember badge tiny.png picture onto pages. Use the Photo Boothmember badge tiny.png west of Falador in-game to set your pictures to use for this feature.
Clan Page Template The Template:MainSiteClanPage allows you to link to your Clans RuneScape page.
RuneScape.Com Template The Template:RuneScape.com allows you to link to a RuneScape.com page.
Services.RuneScape Template The Template:Services.RuneScape allows you to link to services.runescape.com pages.
Jagex.com Template The Template:Jagex.com allows you to link to jagex.com pages.
QFC Template The Template:QFC allows you to link to forum posts.
Edit Conflict Template Sometimes editing on an article can get a bit messy and need to go to the discussion page to avoid problems occurring. To help this happen and to avoid anyone breaking The Three Edit Rule (JWP:O3ER) we now have the Template:EditorConflict for you to use! Simply put {{EditorConflict}} on top of any page when things are getting heated and see the constructive discussion flow forth!

Comments Pages

We mostly use these to discuss the related articles. However occasionally people get confused (especially on the Jagex pages) and see it as good a way to contact them. Fortunately Mod AJD, Michelle, et. al have updated the Contact Us page with much better methods of communication. It might be a good idea to put {{ContactUs}} on these pages when they get posted on (as well as clearing the request). It re-inforces the message about using the `Contact Us methods`.

Articles Needing Maintenance
Category:Articles needing maintenance is a quick link to all the Categories for articles that need improvements. An excellent way to find things that can be done to improve the wiki for all.
Articles Considered for Deletion
If you have found an article that you think should be removed from the wiki please add it to the list at Category:Articles considered for deletion, or add "{{delete|reason}}" to the page. A J-Mod will review it in due course and, if needed, remove it from the wiki.
