Examine A rapier made from kalphite body parts.
Weight 1.8 kg

The drygore rapier is a level 90 degradable melee weapon. It is a rare drop from the Kalphite King. To wield this weapon you must have at least level 90 Attack.

Drygore rapiers degrade with use but they do not have charges like most degradable items, instead they degrade after 10 hours of combat. The rapier can be repaired with chitin scraps which can be gained from breaking down damaged chitin - dropped by all exiled kalphites - on an anvil. One chitin will break down into 20-40 scraps depending on your Smithing level. You need 60 Smithing to break down the chitin.

The rapier can be dyed using barrows, shadow, or Third-Age dyes that are rewards from the Treasure Trails activity. This will adjust the rapier's appearance. Once dyed, the new colour cannot be removed and therefore the original item cannot be retrieved. Dyeing an item will make it untradeable.

Drygore rapier shard If acquired when CoinShare is active, you will be given an equal share of 120 drygore rapier shards, 120 of which combine to make a drygore rapier.

The rapier has an off-hand version which is also dropped by the Kalphite King.
