The Elf warriors in Lletya are particularly useful, since only they can drop Teleport Crystals. The Elf warriors in the Elf Camp are the only elves who can drop charms though.
During the time that Gnomecoptor Tours were available, free players were able to parts of Lletya as well as Elf warriors.
The level 90 elves carry Crystal bows, while the level 108 warriors carry crystal pikes. They can hit quite hard for lower and medium leveled players, so it is advised to bring good armor and food. Since the elf warriors have a weakness to stab attacks, bringing a weapon such a Leaf-bladed sword can be beneficial. Guthan's warspear and Guthan's set is also useful for medium leveled players who don't have access to a Bunyip, as the spear has a stab option as well as the set special, Infestation, which heals the player according to the amount of damage they deal. For higher level players, Korasi's sword, the Abyssal whip, or Chaotic equipment are better choices, since they will usually hit higher anyways. Dragon equipment and higher is recommended, since lower tier armor such as Rune does not have a very high stab/ranged defence.
For players who have started Mourning's Ends Part I, Lletya is an excellent place to complete slayer tasks for elves. Lletya has a bank, as well as an altar on the second floor just above Arianwyn. Lower leveled players who wish to save food can use Protect from Melee or Protect from Missiles to avoid taking damage, running back upstairs to the altar when their prayer points are low. The elves with pikes can only be safespotted with objects that take up more than one space, such as the bench.
Players with 68+ Summoning can utilize the healing powers of a Bunyip to complete the task more efficiently. If slaying at the Elf Camp, players can catch and cook Sharks or fly fish for food. If safespotting with Ranged, the elves carrying pikes can be trapped around a stool, though players MUST stand 2 spaces away to avoid being damaged, as the warriors can still hit over the stool.
Note that only the Elf warriors in Lletya drop Teleport Crystals, while only the Elf warriors in the Elf Camp drop charms. Players should pick the location depending on their needs. Bring High Alchemy runes, an Explorer's ring 3 or 4 to alch drops, and a Gem bag to carry uncut gems.
