Error Messages

There could be several reasons why you were sent to this page:

Editing requires logging in - You usually get this message if you have been editing a page and your session has ended. To preserve your edit, press "back" on your internet browser and use another window to log in to the wiki again.

You do not have permission to access {PAGE NAME} - This page probably contains "JagexAdmin" in the title. These pages are visible to JMods only. They are usually test pages, or pages that we are reworking due to severe vandalism.

You do not have permission to access Special:Search - You are searching for a term that you are not permitted to see the results for. For example, searching for "JagexAdmin" if you are not a JMod.

You do not have permission to edit {PAGE NAME} - This page is either marked as "Read only" (meaning no-one can edit it) or "Jagex Approved" (only JMods can edit). If you have changes to request, try adding a comment to the page's discussion page, or add a note on Things to Fix.

Solutions

• Try logging in to the wiki again.
• If you have you edited the wiki before and you are definitely logged in, perhaps you've encountered a bug with your editing permissions. Post a message on this forum thread to have a JMod check your permissions.
• Do you have the prerequisites to edit the wiki? You will need:
  • To be a member
  • 10 hours of game time
  • 5 Quest Points
  • 100 total level
