Responsible for the holy activities in worship of Saradomin at the Lumbridge Church, Aereck is the start point for the Restless Ghost novice-level quest.

After the Restless Ghost quest, Father Aereck will provide a service where he will sell gravestones. These gravestones appear when a player dies, and hold the players' belongings for a limited period of time. Father Aereck states that proceeds from the sale of the gravestones are donated to the Varrockian Guards Widows and Orphans Fund.
