Feathers are mainly used as bait in the Fishing skill, and used to make Headless arrows. in the Fletching skill.

Feathers can be obtained several ways, but are most commonly obtained from killing Chickens, which drop 5, 10, or 15 feathers at a time.

Another fairly common way to obtain feathers is by snaring birds with the Hunter skill.

There is a trade restriction on feathers when using the Grand Exchange; only 10,000 feathers can be either bought or sold within 4 hours.
