Flax is an item which can be picked from where it grows in several locations around RuneScape granting 1 Farming XP. It is used to make Bow strings, requiring level 10 Crafting and giving 15 Crafting experience. It is possible to pick multiple flax from one plant.

Flax can be found in the following places:

• South of Seers' Village.
• Lletya.
• Gnome Stronghold.
• In Taverley flower patches.
• South of Rellekka, near the wolves.
• On Lunar Isle .

It can also be obtained from Baby implings or as a drop from Kurask and TzHaar-Hur. A player can also collect a certain amount of flax every day from Geoffrey.

Tips

• One of the best places to pick flax is Lletya, because the flax field is very close to the bank. The only downside is that the player has to begin Mourning's Ends Part I to enter Lletya.
• The field south of Seers' Village contains a spinning wheel a short distance from the route to the bank. This allows players to turn their flax into bow strings for crafting experience and even more money.

Trivia

• It is possible to get up to 12 flax from a single plant.
• Before the bot nuke, there were usually several bots picking the flax at Seers' village on each world.
