Players looking to pit their wits and combat skills against each other in various activities will find a number of varied and unusual games within the Gamers' Grotto. Whether it's gathering sacred clay in Stealing Creation, hunting an elusive opponent at the Fist of Guthix, or just engaging in mass brawls at Clan Wars, the grotto is sure to have something to suit your more violent instincts.

Location

Locating the grotto

The cave entrance to the grotto is located just outside Falador's north wall. It is a quick walk east from Falador's north gate to the grotto, but the more agile adventurers can try grappling over the wall instead. Alternatively, a games necklace will teleport you directly to the centre of the grotto.

Once you are inside the grotto, you'll see a number of important features about it. The north cavern is the lobby for games of Stealing Creation, to the east is the entrance area for Clan Wars] while the southern portal leads to the cavern that houses the Fist of Guthix. If you need to access your bank this can be done from the Clan Wars or Fist of Guthix chambers.

Stealing Creation

The primordial realm

One of the grotto's stranger features is a portal to a realm composed solely of "sacred clay" - the material likely used by the gods to fashion their followers, not to mention all the beasts, plants and other features of our world. A group of mystics have discovered this portal and are in need of skilled adventurers to go forth and gather this clay for the mystics' dubious purposes...

Players who take part in Stealing Creation will find themselves rewarded with tools and items made from the sacred clay. Capable of changing their shape and purpose to suit the user's needs, the tools also bestow extra experience on those skilled enough to use them.

Hunting the enemy

The land of RuneScape holds many ancient secrets, and the druids of Guthix have found one of the most powerful - a strange cavern containing a power they have dubbed the "Fist of Guthix", along with its bizarre guardian. Anxious to harness a little of this power for their own purposes, the druids are inviting players to join in a battle of wits, speed and determination. Who will survive the longest and collect the most power from the cavern - you or your opponent?

Those who can both hunt and be hunted will be rewarded with some of the druid's magical robes and gloves. Imbued with the power of the Fist, they have all kinds of nice effects to suit both skillers and killers.

Clan Wars

Is your clan ready for battle?

The more combat-oriented clans in RuneScape are always looking to prove themselves against each other in glorious battle. In Clan Wars, you and your clan will do battle against other groups, fighting for domination and bragging rights, picking off the weak and conquering the strong. With your clan's pride at stake, will you step up to the challenge? Victory means glory; failure means humilitation.

Even if you're not part of a clan, don't worry. The free-for-all arenas call everyone into battle, with everyone fighting against everyone else for glory or for each other's hard-earned items. If you just want to kill or be killed, this is the place for you.
