- There's something swimming in the punchbowl...
Location
Death has been asked to organise a Halloween convention in his clan’s citadel (yes, Death has a clan: The Horsemen). Help him and some of his other clan members to put a few finishing touches to the convention space and you may get to attend the after-party.
To start the Halloween event, you will need to speak to Frank. He's waiting outside of the Clan Camp, south of Falador.
When you arrive at Deathcon II, head west until you reach the noticeboard; your tasks will be laid out here.
The Event
There are several tasks for you to help with in order to ensure that Deathcon II is the best yet!
Everybody dance now
Infinity requires help with the dancefloor. Talk to her and she'll give you a manual to guide you through it. Walk onto a tile and click it to toggle the lights on or off.
There are numbers on each row and column. These numbers tell you how many tiles out of the 10 in that row/column should be lit up. If there is a 6 in a row, then a sequence of six lights can be found on that row. Unlit tiles are not listed, but if there are several numbers written on a row or column, then you know there are unlit tiles between the sequences of lights. For example, if 6 and 2 is written in a column you know that there is a sequence of 6 lit tiles and another sequence of 2 lights in that column. At least one unlit tile should be left between them. You will need to figure out how many unlit tiles should separate them, and where they should be placed, by looking at other rows and columns.
Speak to Infinity when you're done.
What is it good for?
Beauty needs you to pick the statues for the welcome area. Each member of the clan has a preference for what their statue should be and where it will be positioned.
First, pick a statue from Beauty's inventory that matches the requests from each clan member, and then go to the citadel portal. Arrange the statues in order of preference and return to Beauty when you are done. If you have fulfilled every clanmate's preferences, she will thank you for your help and let you know that Frank is looking for you on the keep roof.
Fire in the disco
Frank is on the roof, at the north side of the theatre. Frank needs you to direct his pet chicken - Horses - through a maze of items to test some fireworks for him. The problem is that horses can only move in an 'L' shape, akin to the knights in a game of chess. He cannot leapfrog any obstacles like a knight in a game of chess, however, so you have to make sure that Horses finds a clear path to his destination.
Horses can only set alight to a firework if he enters the same square as the firework.
Rewards
For completing the event, players will receive a Deathcon II t-shirt and lanyard. Members will receive an hourglass in addition to the t-shirt and lanyard. Players will also unlock the Living on Borrowed Time emote.
