Hill giants are the weakest species of giant, and popular for low-level training due to their low combat level and fast kills. Although their drops are not especially valuable, extremely lucky members may find a champion's scroll that permits them to fight the Giant Champion. Hill Giants have a 100% drop rate of Big bones which can sell for between 350-500 coins per bone on the G.E. depending on demand. This makes it ideal for lower leveled or "poorer" players looking to make money as well as higher level players looking to easily increase their prayer. They are also known to drop low level herbs, Limpwurt root, Charms, Gems and seeds all of which are useful for boosting non-combat skills throughout the game. Although they can drop weapons and armour it is mostly too low level for anyone with high enough stats to kill them to make use of. Players with the Brass key can enter edgeville dungeon just south-west of the G.E. meaning that any items that are dropped can be quickly and conveniently sold for coins.
