The ferret, lithe and vicious, is an ideal Hunter aid for snaring rabbits. It is best to use the ferret on a rabbit hole with a rabbit snare laid in anticipation.
Raw pawya meat can be used to trap Grenwalls. Aside from the hefty experience earned by catching these wary creatures, the spikes that grenwalls drop can be used with feathers to make headless arrows. Pawya are also known to occasionally drop papaya seeds, and grenwalls sometimes drop a variety of herbs or pawya meat.
Camouflage increases your chance of catching animals in the associated areas with a full set of items increasing your chances even further.

The fur of trackable kebbits can be made into various camouflaged clothing items, which will in turn help you hunt at a higher level in those areas that match the camouflage. Camo-tops and camo-legs can be made by visiting the fancy dress shop in south-east Varrock. The slightly eccentric shop owner will offer to make these items for you at a cost, if you have the required number of furs in your inventory of course.
When worn, they will help you blend into the scenery a little more, increasing your chances of catching creatures with 'place and wait' traps. A full set of that camo-gear will increase your chances even further!

The fur gleaned from pitfall creatures can come in one of two forms: tatty or perfect. Both can be made into trousers and tops at the fancy-dress store in Varrock for a price, but perfect fur can additionally be made into headdresses. The tatty and perfect fur can also be sold to the fur traders of Rellekka and Ardougne, although the tatty fur will get a lower price.

Main article: Herblore Habitat
Attracting a full complement of non-god jadinkos in a given week will give hunters some witchdoctor legs or witchdoctor robes. These items act as camouflage while in the Herblore Habitat area. They can also be sold to Papa Mambo for 5,400 gold each.
Catch all of the god jadinkos in one week and you will also gain a witchdoctor mask. This mask has unlimited teleports to the Herblore Habitat and acts as camouflage in the Herblore Habitat.
Wearing witchdoctor gear once you have caught all of the god jadinkos in a given week will provide you with a momentary boost to Hunter, Herblore or Farming XP when performing actions in the habitat. This boosts lasts for 30 minutes from the moment you first wear the item. The boosts are listed below:
The above boosts are in addition to any boosts you would receive from potions.
