Icthlarin is a desert god that is commonly associated with death. He is the son of the god Tumeken, and is the god that originally brought the Mahjarrat into the plane of Gielinor and was the god they worshiped for a period of time. Later, the god Zaros freed the Mahjarrat from Icthlarin's control and claimed at least some of them for his own armies.

The player has the opportunity to see Icthlarin in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest with the head of a dog, but he has not been seen since. His enemy is his sister, Amascut, the goddess of destruction, also known as the Devourer.
