- Interface settings
|This article is about the interface for customising interface options. For details on interfaces in general, see Interfaces.|
The interface settings interface is part of the Settings management interface, accessed by pressing 'Esc' on your keyboard, or by pressing the settings icon on the ribbon. followed by 'Controls'. This interface allows you to manage several aspects of the interface's appearance and display some additional interfaces.
It cannot be removed from the Settings interface and therefore cannot be moved or otherwise manipulated.
You can also access Edit Mode from this interface.

Note that when in Legacy mode the interface functions roughly the same. Some of the functionality is not available, or has a different effect when in this mode. Also, the interface will have a slightly different appearance, and can be accessed via the options menu, rather than the ribbon.
The functions that are not available are:
- The ability to change the interface's appearance
- The ability to hide the target information pane or target reticules
- The ability to disable ability bar cooldown timers (these are not shown anyway)
- Enable edit mode
The transparency slider will not affect all interfaces, only the chat background.
