Lilys of the valley have been added every spring starting with spring 2009, and removed a short while afterwards.

They are dotted on most of the grassy areas in RuneScape and can be used on another player to give it to them (assuming they had accept aid active). Many players took advantage of this and confused many bots by placing these in their inventories.

Whilst equipped the player can use the "operate" function in the equipment menu to initiate a special emote where the character smells the lily by brushing it under their nose.
