Magic Abilities

The magic abilities interface is an action window. It allows you to view and activate all of the magic-based spells and abilities that you have access to.

As with the majority of action windows you can adjust its size, swap and dock it with other interfaces, and move it around your game window.

Powers icon If not visible on the game screen, you can access the magic abilities interface by clicking on the powers icon in the ribbon and going to the Magic tab.

Although it can be modified, the first time you see the magic abilities interface, it will likely resemble the image to the right.

All of these abilities and spells can be added to your action bar in any order that you wish.

Spell Details

All of the action windows from the powers interface will allow you to hover over an individual ability or spell to see information about it. Details such as a description of the spell/ability, what requirements it has, how much adrenaline it costs (if any), how many runes it requires (if any), and the cool down time required before you can cast it again.

Note that when in Legacy mode the interface functions exactly the same. The only difference is that it will have a slightly different appearance. The only exception is that you cannot drag the spells onto the action bar as this interface is not available in Legacy mode.

Sonic Wave ability icon Sonic Wave A focused blast of magic that pummels your target, damaging and knocking them off balance. Deals 157% of your active spell's damage. Your next attack has a 10% bonus to accuracy against the affected target. 8 Magic

Concentrated Blast ability icon Concentrated Blast member badge tiny.png Blast your target with three beams of concentrated energy. Each beam deals 75% of your active spell's damage and increases by 7% with each beam. Combo attack. 12 Magic

Combust ability icon Combust Applies a damage-over-time effect to the target, dealing 100-188% of the active spell's damage over 6 seconds. If the target moves location, they suffer 2x damage. 20 Magic 2.5 Basic 8% 0% 0%

Detonate ability icon Detonate member badge tiny.png Summon an explosive ball of energy over your target, or yourself if you do not have one. The longer you maintain the effect - up to 6 seconds - the more powerful the explosion will become. Using Detonate a second time will trigger the explosion. 37 Magic 5 Threshold 0% 50% 5%

Metamorphosis ability icon Metamorphosis member badge tiny.png Transform into an elemental based on your most recently cast spell. While transformed, your spells are free to cast and your magic damage is increased by 50%. Lasts 20 seconds. 66 Magic 10 Ultimate 0% 100% 100%
Smoke Tendrils ability icon Smoke Tendrils member badge tiny.png Tendrils of smoke whip at your opponent's feet for 6 seconds. The first hit causes 100% weapon damage. Sunshine ability icon Sunshine member badge tiny.png Summon a sunbeam to shine over your location, lasting 30 seconds. During this time, provided you remain within the beam, your magic damage will be increased by 50%.
