Magic logs are obtained in the woodcutting skill by chopping magic trees. Chopping a magic log requires a woodcutting level of 75 and gives 250 woodcutting experience. They can also be lit at level 75 firemaking granting 303.8 firemaking experience. Using the fletching skill, magic logs can be cut into unstrung magic shortbows and unstrung magic longbows, then strung using Bow string to make Magic shortbows and Magic longbows. This process requires 80 and 85 fletching respectively.

These Logs can be obtained from Magic Trees south of Seers Village and in Tree Gnome Stronghold. They are becoming more expensive (as of Jan 20 2012) and currently are about 1.7k per log. This, along with the rise in Dragon Hatchets, suggests that people are chopping this log in order to make money. This is a good way, if you have the skill and time. You can make roughly 1mil per 600 logs.

Cutting an magic tree while wearing the full Lumberjack set (hat, top, legs, boots), increasing the xp granted by 2.5%, will result in 256.3 woodcutting experience per set of magic logs chopped.

Using a tinderbox on magic logs while wearing either a ring of fire or flame gloves (requires 62 and 79 firemaking, respectively), increasing the xp granted by 2%, will result in 309.9 firemaking experience per set of magic logs set aflame.

Using a tinderbox on magic logs while wearing both a ring of fire and flame gloves (requires 79 firemaking), increasing the xp granted by 5%, will result in 319.1 firemaking experience per set of magic logs set aflame.

Stepping over magic logs while wielding The Book of Char (if acivated), which doubles the firemaking xp normally granted, will result in 607.6 firemaking experience per set of magic logs set aflame.
